MileMaster
MileMaster is built by codenamefez. This policy explains what data the app handles.
Summary
MileMaster stores your mileage data on your device. If you turn on iCloud backup in Settings on iPhone or iPad, vehicles, trips, fuel logs, and reminder preferences are copied to your iCloud account. Each device keeps its own named backup so you can choose which one to restore. We do not operate our own cloud servers.
Data we store on your device
- Vehicle details (name, registration, type, usage mode, starting odometer)
- Trip records (odometer readings, miles, category, notes, optional fuel data)
- App settings (reminder preferences, developer test toggles in debug builds)
- Optional iCloud backup of that on-device data when you enable iCloud backup
iCloud backup
On iPhone and iPad, MileMaster can back up your mileage data to iCloud Documents in your Apple account. Backups are stored per device and are not shared live between devices — you can restore a backup after reinstalling the app or when setting up a new device. Trip photos are not included in the backup. You can turn iCloud backup off in Settings at any time.
Data we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email, or location by default
- We do not sell your data
- We do not use advertising trackers in the app
Third-party services
If in-app purchases are available and you buy MileMaster Pro or a Personal Pack, RevenueCat processes the transaction with Apple App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat may receive an anonymous app user ID and purchase history according to their privacy policy.
Notifications
If you enable daily reminders, MileMaster schedules a local notification on your device. No notification content is sent to our servers.
Your choices
- Export your trips as CSV from within the app
- Delete trips and vehicles in the app
- Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data. iCloud copies remain until you delete the MileMaster backups from iCloud or turn off the setting and remove the backups from your other devices.
This website
The MileMaster marketing site is static. It does not set analytics cookies or collect personal information through forms in the current version.
